Community Service Banned From AA Hat Custom Embroidered

It was just an ordinary Tuesday at the embroidery shop when Greg thought it would be hilarious to customize a trucker hat with the words “Community Service Banned From AA” in bold, gothic script. And boy, did he start a scandal. Within 24 hours, his Etsy store was in moral flames, and the local chapter of the Sassy Sobriety Sisters (Triple S) declared the hat “a personal attack on 12-step dignity.” Greg insisted it was just “edgy sarcasm,” but apparently, there’s a thin line between tongue-in-cheek humor and being the reason Karen starts a Change.org petition.

Now banned from every AA pancake breakfast in the tri-county area, Greg has pivoted to hats that say things like “Court-Ordered Swag” and “Step 9 is Just Apologizing in Drip.” He claims he’s starting a fashion revolution. We think he’s starting a lawsuit. Either way, if you see someone wearing the Community Service Banned From AA hat, give them a hug—or a lawyer. Possibly both.
